Seasearch dive – Roa Island Jetty 17th July 2021
The abundance of sea life in Walney channel is amazing. Even though a recent dredge had covered everything in a fine layer of silt, the bright weather and relatively good visibility saw us enter the water, dive through a variety of sea weeds before spotting and endless array of sponges, anemones as well as crabs, lobster and a variety of fish.
After the dive observer forms were completed and assessed. It is a great exercise to record and identify all the species you saw.
