This is followed by a scuba dive in the pool with BSAC-qualified instructors to make sure you get the maximum enjoyment from your first scuba dive.
If you’d like to go ahead and learn after your Try Dive in the equivalent of 4-6 days continuous training, you could become a fully qualified a BSAC Ocean Diver. This scuba qualification will help you witness first hand, the wonders of the underwater world including wrecks, marine life and a whole new world for you to explore.
A Try Dive can help you save time and money by finding out in advance if you like diving or snorkelling. It allows you the chance to sample an exciting sport and to gain an insight into the fascinating world beneath the waves.

A few times a year the club hosts a ‘TRY DIVE’ which offers members of the local community to try out scuba diving in a safe, friendly, pool environment.*
An instructor will take you through the basic SCUBA skills, and for the more adventurous (or if you’ve dived before), the instructor may show you some more advanced skills.
The format of the evening is very simple –
